Duke Energy's and the SCWF's National Hunting and Fishing Day—September 29,
2012—9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bring the whole family to experience a wonderful day in the great outdoors.
Experts will teach both children and adults how to safely fire air rifles
and bow and arrows, paddle canoes and kayaks, and dress in camouflage for
hide and seek. There are too many outdoor activities to name, but it’s all
designed to promote family fun in the outdoors. All events are free. Bring a
picnic or purchase food from on site concessionaires. Free shuttle from

What We Offer
Calm Water Kayak Tours offers day and overnight kayak excursions to various lakes and rivers in South Carolina.
Where We Paddle
Kayak tours will include Lake Jocassee, Saluda River, Lake Russell, Lake Greenwood, Lake Hartwell, and Lake Keowee.
What We See
Each trip is unique. Past sightings have included eagles, egrets, great blue herons, red-shouldered hawks, ducks, deer, turtles, red-winged blackbirds, and more.
