Directions to Launch Sites

Lake Greenwood (Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area)
302 State Park Road, Ninety Six, SC  29666

• From I-26: Take exit 74 to Hwy 34 towards Newberry.  Stay on Hwy 34 for 25 miles.  Turn right onto Hwy 702 for 2 miles.  The park entrance is on the right.
• From Greenwood:  Take Hwy 72 for approximately 6 miles.  Turn right onto Hwy 246.  Travel approximately 5 miles and turn left onto Hwy 702.  The park is located 7 miles on the left.

Lake Hartwell (Sadler’s Creek State Park)
940 Sadler’s Creek Road, Anderson, SC  29626

• From I-85 N and S:  Take Exit 14 to Hwy 187 S for 14 miles.
• Turn right onto Sadler’s Creek Road.
• Park is 1.1 miles off Hwy 187.

Lake Jocassee (Devils Fork State Park)
161 Holcombe Circle, Salem, SC  29676

• From I-85 at the GA line:  Take exit 1 to Hwy 11 for approximately 40 miles.  Turn left on Jocassee Lake Rd, and travel 3 miles.
• From I-85 at the NC line:  Travel south to Hwy 11 exit at Gaffney and proceed on Hwy 11 for approximately 90 miles.  Turn right on Jocassee Lake Road and travel 3 miles.
• From I-26:  Take exit 5 onto Hwy 11 to Campobello.  Travel for approximately 60 mi.  Turn right on Lake Jocassee Road and travel 3 miles.
• Follow signs for LAST boat ramp to the left.

Lake Keowee (Keowee-Toxaway State Natural Area)
108 Residence Drive, Sunset, SC  29685

• From I-85:  Take exit 40 onto Hwy 153 toward Easley.
• Go N on Hwy 153 for 5 miles.
• Merge onto Calhoun Memorial Hwy/Hwy 123 and drive for 2.5 miles.
• Hwy 123 becomes Hwy 93/Main St.  Continue to drive 3 miles.
• Go onto Hwy 8 and continue for 6 miles.
• Turn left on Hwy 183 and then turn right onto Hwy 178 and drive 8.5 miles.
• Turn left onto Hwy 11 and drive 8.5 miles.
• Watch for park signs.
• From I-85 near the GA border:  Take exit 1 onto Hwy 11 and drive 38.5 miles.
• Watch for park signs.

Lake Russell (Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area)
46 Maintenance Shop Road, Calhoun Falls, SC  29628

• From Hwy 72:  Take Hwy 81N at the intersection in Calhoun Falls.  Proceed approximately one mile.  The park will be on the left.
• From I-85:  Take exit 19 to Hwy 76 S.  Go approximately 2 miles and take the Hwy 28 bypass.  Continue approximately 5 miles and turn onto Hwy 81 S for approximately 30 miles.  The park entrance will be on the right.

Saluda River (near Greenwood, SC)

• From Hwy 25 (between Greenville and Greenwood), go east on Hwy 246 approx. 3 miles until you see a sign that reads “Public Golf Course” and a smaller one that reads “Souls Harbor”.
• Turn left and go approx. 3 miles until you see a sign that reads “Pavement Ends”.
• Follow road to the left.
• Boat ramp will be on your right.
