About Your Tour Guides
All tours are led by owners/guides Ron and Cheryl Cummins. Ron and Cheryl owned and operated Kayaks, etc., Inc. in Vero Beach, Florida, for 9 years. Kayaks, etc., Inc. was a kayak specialty store that offered sales of kayaks and accessories, rentals, and guided day and overnight excursions year-round.
They relocated to Ware Shoals, South Carolina, in August of 2006 and started Calm Water Kayak Tours doing guided tours and rentals.
Both are certified in CPR, First-Aid, and Kayak Instruction, and both are very knowledgeable about area wildlife.
